2026 scholarship winners
The Livingston Women's Club is pleased and honored to announce the recipients of this year’s Human Services scholarships. Delaina Maschke is from Brighton High School and is going into Nursing. Our second recipient is Daniel Mostek from Hartland High School, who is pursuing a career in Kinesiology. Both are attending the University of Michigan this fall. Congratulations to Delaina and Daniel!

The Livingston Women's Club is pleased to support Bendix Academy with a $500 donation.Bendix Academy equips young people with toolmanship, mechanical self-reliance, and career readiness through intergenerational mentorship that builds confidence, maturity, and life-long skills.

Our donation to Love Inc for $750
Love Inc. provides clothing, home and car repairs, laundry, transportation, household items, furniture, help with utilities, etc. Their weekly “New Creation Program” offers a meal, childcare, mentoring, budget coaching and support with basic essential items.
Donation to The Earl Farm Foundation
The Earl Farm Foundation is provided predominately in the form of healthy ground beef protein to neighbors in need. Approximately, $2,500 purchases a cow and processing and supplies 500 one-pound packages of healthy ground beef protein to local food pantries. Established in 2009. Food Pantries that benefit: (1) Bountiful Harvest Food Bank, Brighton (2) Gleaners, all of Livingston County (3) LACASA Center, Howell (4) SonRise Food Pantry, Howell (5) Family Impact Center, Fowlerville

Donation to the ivy table
The LWC has donated to The Ivy Table. If you haven't heard of it yet, you need to check it out! It has a "Pay-it-Forward Café" for those who want to bless others and pay-it-forward by giving generously for their meals. This will help cover the cost of meals for less fortunate, locally or abroad. It is a place to gather, eat, bless, and be blessed.
donation to meals on wheels
The LWC has made a donation to Meals On Wheels. The organization provides homebound older adults with a meal, human contact and a safety check on a volunteer basis. Meals delivered daily – 1,200 to 1,800. Clients can pay $3.50 meal but many do not have resources so donations cover costs.
Donation to talking is teaching
The donation will fund monthly Adopt-A-Classroom books and book talk cards to about 25 preschool classrooms to include two Early Head Start classrooms. (Prior to COVID-19 LWC members read to children in classroom settings.)
Donation to vina dental
VINA Dental provides affordable dental care to uninsured patients with limited incomes. It is a nonprofit dental clinic that was established in 2008 in Brighton. All the patients at VINA have no dental insurance and income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. The out-of-pocket of dental care is too great and many patients do not have affordable dental care without the services of VINA. Many patients at VINA have not had dental care in years or even decades.
Donation to torch 180
Torch 180 is a training facility for people who have disadvantages. They use a fully operational Cafe & Coffee Bar that is open to the public to give their students real-life practice for working in the food service industry. Tuition is mostly paid by Wishlist online.
